How are you? Are things going good in the leg? I know you are very busy but wanted to thank you again for the time you took to come and deliver your presentations to the students in Thompson and Nelson House. I told my board at our last meeting I have heard you speak over 50 times now and still enjoy each and every presentation. As you know I never leave the gym during your talks!
For Your Information one of our board members received a call from a
parent in Thompson who picked up her daughter at school after your
presentation. The daughter said "her life has been changed forever" after hearing your message...I know many of the students feel the same
way.....Thanks Again Serge.....I still hope to visit you in Regina in the
near future at the Legislature.....

Dear Mr. LeClerc,
Thank you again for the thought provoking lecture you delivered to staff
and students at Princess Margaret Secondary on Wed Feb 28/07. It was
the best and most honest message I have heard presented in the public
school since I began teaching twenty years ago. It was refreshing to
hear you speak about the dishonesty and abuse caused by "political
correctness" and the cowardice of the adult world to hide behind it.
Few speakers have had the frankness to address the root issue of the lie of sexual "freedom" introduced in the sixties and its devastating
effects on youth today. I especially appreciated your candor and
illuminating statistics on society being more sexist today than ever
before in North America. I was encouraged by your challenge for each
individual to realize that we are not animals but human beings capable
of making moral choices over how we use our bodies and how we allow them to be used. Finally, I have never heard before such a powerful message to teens and adults addressing the issue of the loss of personal responsiblity being at the root of so many of our social and intellectual problems in school and society today. Thank you again for your message of truth and the hope for change it inspired.
Sincerely,

Dear Editor:
Serge LeClerc's public presentation sponsored by SOS Crime Stoppers will shock everyone into realizing how much we don't know about the realities of life. Serge definitely has a history of a pretty rough life, but from out of the ashes so to speak, he has earned an honors degree in sociology, plus and combines his university degrees with his past by counseling us to face the truth of today's society.
Everyone thinks we are totally informed of what is going on in the world, we think we are in touch with our kids and we think we are good parents and grandparents. We think we know everything about drugs, teen suicide, STD's, crime and all those unspeakable things, because we watch the news on T.V. or read the paper. What we don't know is how we contribute to these problems. No matter how well educated we are, regardless of profession, we make good critics but we don't make good crime stoppers. The reality is we are not as smart as we think we are.
As I listened to Serge's presentation along with other parents, educators and professionals, we were shocked at just how much we don't know and we were shocked at how some of our parenting skills can have serious consequences. The youth also in attendance confirmed that this presentation was a life changing experience. The information I gathered will force me to take inventory of just where I could have done better as a parent, as a person and as a community minded person. As I kept interrupting myself and everyone around me with, my gawd I didn't know that, I realized we are either part of the problem or part of the solution. One thing is for sure I will be attending the evening presentation on Thursday, March 1st at the Trade and Convention in Penticton and hopefully grasp what I missed. What a wake-up call I had.

Serge LeClerc Speaking Tour – Manitoba – February, 2007
In February 2007 Serge delivered his inspiring message to over 3500 students in Rural Manitoba at 14 different venues. I watched the students listen intently to Serge’s own personal life experiences and his message concerning all of the pressures young people are facing today, including drug and alcohol abuse, sexuality, bullying and teen suicides. Serge’s message of “breaking the silence” paid immediate dividends in one school as some young people came forward with information the day after the presentation. As a result of the investigation a young offender was charged with uttering threats and possession of a weapon. I would not hesitate to recommend this dynamic speaker to anyone considering having Serge attend his or her area.

"I would be unhesitating in my recommendation of Serge LeClerc as a presenter. His challenge to students to think about the choices they make was so engagingly, so respectfully and so powerfully delivered that I have been inundated by unanimously positive feedback from students, staff, and parents. I would be happy to speak directly with anyone requiring a more complete reference."
